MySQL Dump for Cities and States of USA

This MySQL category dump work in phpLD 3.3. If will create the structure of States and Cities of USA. There are total 7,682 cities and states in this list, means that the database covers most of cities and towns. The problem with displaying all towns and cities of USA is state pages can become bloated with too many subcategories making the pages slow and not very user friendly. With this database, pages should load fine, and all but the very small towns are listed.

Bulk accept or accept all links at once in phpLD 2.1.2

In phpLD 3 its easy to accept all links at once because of its powerfull admin panel but in phpld 2, its a big paid when you have free directory.
You don’t need to accept each single link at once, if you do so it will take years to accept all links.

The simple way to do this is run a sql query in your data base. Run this command and you all links will be accepted.

UPDATE PLD_LINK SET STATUS =2 WHERE STATUS =1;

If you are new to databases or don’t know how to run query then you can follow these simple steps.

1. Open your control panel and go to phpMyAdmin.

2. After opening phpMyAdmin, at left side click on the database name that you used on your directory.

3. Now you will see some menus at top. Click on SQL, that in no. 2 on row.

4. Now run the small script that I showed in red.

5. Now all your links are approved.

PaperTrail phpLD Template

This template released in 2 versions. The 1st allows to run it like a normal directory and the other one allows to run like a blog.
There are 2 footer links in this templates. One is linking to phplinkdirectory home page, if you own a unbranded version license then you can remove that link. The other link is to this template page. If you want to remove this then you must pay $35.

Directory Point is a paid web directory. It officially launched on May 19, 2008 ( yesterday). As its a new directory so price is just $5 for regular links and $10 for featured link.
